DM Your SUI

with zkSend

zkSend makes it incredibly easy to send SUI tokens to anyone in the world. Built on zkLogin and Sui's native cryptography, zkSend lets users create a link containing a specific amount of SUI. That link can be sent via any messaging client, such as email and direct messages, or even turned into a QR code on physical media.

Sending SUI with zkSend is much simpler than copying and pasting a wallet address, then authorizing a token transfer. Recipients don't even need a web3 wallet. After clicking the zkSend link, the recipient can choose to create an account using zkLogin, which lets anyone interact with Sui using existing credentials from services such as Google or Twitch.

zkSend makes one-to-one transfers effortless, and serves various use cases. Projects could send loyal users SUI through zkSend, or encourage new users to onboard by sending SUI to cover gas fees.

Users wanting to send SUI can go to the zkSend site. After logging in with zkLogin or connecting an existing wallet, they can specify the amount of SUI to send, and click Create Link. This link can then be shared with the recipient. At any time before the recipient claims the SUI, the sender can reclaim it at the push of a button.

As zkSend links are not tied to a specific wallet address, anyone clicking the link can claim the allocated SUI. zkSend links posted on public forums only reward the first person to claim the SUI.

Please note that zkSend is in beta, and we will be iterating and updating it based on user feedback. Upcoming enhancements will include support for additional asset types and developer tools, the ability to send directly to an email address, bulk link creation, recoverable links, and link redirects.

As with zkLogin, zkSend illustrates Sui’s ability to bring the advantages of blockchain technology to the masses. These technologies eliminate the pain points users have when engaging with the many useful and entertaining apps in web3.
